Hi:
Your notebook has support for one M.2 NVMe SSD.
You can replace the existing 512 GB NVMe SSD with one having a greater storage capacity.
The Crucial SSD report indicates that they sell NVMe SSD's up to 4 TB in storage capacity in the model series:'
HP - Compaq HP OMEN 16t-wd0000 | Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | Crucial.com
The M.2 slot supports PCIe Gen 4 x 4 SSD's.
Below is the link to the service manual:
Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)
The service manual shows two NVMe SSD locations but that is only for the 16-wf0xxx model series which uses the same manual.
The same is true for the service teardown video:

You're very welcome.
In my opinion, the Samsung 990 Pro would be better than the Crucial T500 but the T500 costs less for almost the same performance.
₹10,799 for the 1 TB Samsung vs ₹8,299 for the Crucial T500 1 TB.
I believe that the Samsung drive runs a bit cooler is the reason for my opinion.
