I want to install another SSD to my laptop. What gen of SSD does my laptop's SSD slot support. What maximum read and write speed will it support also up to how many TB I can upgrade it.

Your notebook only has support for one M.2 NVMe SSD.

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates that HP offered PCIe Gen 4 x 4 SSD's in the model series.

The maximum read/write speed would depend on the model SSD you buy up to the limit the PCIe Gen 4 slot can support.

According to the Crucial SSD report for the model series, they sell NVMe SSD's up to 4 TB:

But there is another slot in the motherboard of the laptop with SSD 2 written on it. Doesn't that mean I can install another SSD?

I know, but what good is that area without the rest of the circuitry you need to install a second SSD?

If the notebook had support for two SSD's there would have been a slot there just like the other one.

And, no you can't add a slot to that area and expect it to work.
