Hi! Can I install SSD in my laptop? If so, which one? Does my laptop support NVMe? Which type of SSD key can I install (B or M)?
P.S. I don't know which model of my laptop is correct. OS writing HP Omen 17-an0xx while official HP apps identify my device as HP Omen 17-an040ur 🙂

Hi:
According to chapter 1 of the service manual on your notebook's support page, it has a M.2 slot that supports NVMe SSD's.
The only thing is, the manual is for the newer 17-an1xx notebooks.

I checked the Crucial memory/SSD report for your notebook and Crucial indicates that your specific model supports NVMe SSD's.
