It's not a printer, it's actually a laptop, the issue with it is that when I tried to make a storage change i forgot to unplug the battery which made the bios get protected so now it won't turn on

Hi @JOSEM13Z9,

I understand your Victus Gaming Laptop 15-fa1072wm is not powering on after a storage change was attempted without disconnecting the battery, and the system now appears to be in a protected or locked BIOS state. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

Perform a hard reset
Turn the laptop off completely.
Disconnect the AC adapter, then press and hold the power button for 15–20 seconds to discharge residual power.

Attempt a basic power-on test
Reconnect only the AC adapter (do not reconnect the battery if it was removed).
Press the power button and observe any lights, fan movement, or screen activity.

Try BIOS recovery (Windows + B method)
Turn the laptop off.
Press and hold the Windows key + B, then press and hold the power button for 2–3 seconds, release the power button but keep holding Windows + B for about 10 seconds to see if BIOS recovery starts.

Try alternate BIOS recovery (Windows + V method)
Repeat the same steps as above but use Windows key + V instead.
Some systems respond to one method over the other.

Check for LED blink codes
Observe the Caps Lock or power LED for blink patterns.
Blink codes can indicate whether the system is in a BIOS protection or hardware fault state.

Reseat internal components (if accessible)
If you are comfortable opening the unit, disconnect AC power first.
Reseat the storage drive and ensure no cables were loosened during the upgrade attempt.

Allow time for recovery initialization
If BIOS recovery starts, do not interrupt the process.
The screen may remain black for several minutes while the firmware restores itself.

I hope this helps.

None of the solutions provided worked to make my laptop turned on and I actually took it to a repair center and there they sent me a video where we could see that the BIOS was getting overheated and there they told me that it was that bios that didn't work and that they needed an schematic to tell me exactly what part of it didn't work
