Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-s0000 (76T53AV)

Hello HP community,

Ever since i´ve had this pc it severely underperformed. It has always struggled with the fans. I´ve ran all updates from HP support center. Honestly at this point i am unable to do anything with the pc, screen just starts flashing at any point. I also ran hp hardware diognostics but also did not manage to run them since the computer screen went black and just stopped the diagnosistcs, it didnt show any error... I am clueless what the issue is... the fans just randomly go crazy even when i am just on my lock screen 😞

I know you will ask me to ´debug´ but its honestly come to the point its frustrating and impossible to use the laptop... So please keep this in mind when advising me something 🥺 i´ve also tried hp support on whatsapp but it was not reallt helpful so i came to this forum for a solution.

Thank you in advance,

Tibo

It is a very hot machine indeed, specially when playing games.  How much RAM does your machine have ? (32GB or 16GB). My suggestion: give more room around the machine, keep a good ventilation and use cooling pad such as

Hello,

Unfortunately it also shows these types of issues wheb just browsing on google... i believe it to be 16GB of RAM. But the RAM never gets filled at all... it literally fails running 5 tabs of google chrome so i highly doubt its because of gaming. It crashed on games such as rocket league ( its from 2015... and runs only at low gpu settings).

I would not blame the bad performance on my running difficult games, I only run games which are heavily under the specification mentioned by HP. I strongly believe its an hardware problem since i experience this since day 1, it just got to the point i cant actually do anything on the pc ( includijg just browsing the internet). It utterly fails at normal functioning.

Last example was i made a back-up of my phone and uploaded the data to a new phone ( no other programs were running). The computer his screen started flashing and did not react for 5-10 min... I honestly thought the computer had broken... i did not react to any keyboard input ( not even the power button)... after about 5-10 min (also my computer sounded like an airplane trying to take off) i landed on the lock screen.

Overall the issues dont occur under heavy computer load... they are more like random... I´ve checked all software as advised by HP and i´ve 0 issues. I makes believe there is a hardware issue...

Kind regards,

Tibo
