Hello, could you tell me if the
HP OMEN 16-xf0000ny AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS 16.1inch FHD 32GB 1TB RTX 4070 8GB
have 2 SSD slots or just one? I have found conflicting information and wanted concrete info before making the purchase.
Thanks!

Hi:
The OMEN 16-xf0xxx model series has support for 2 NVMe SSD's.
The OMEN 16-xd0xxx model series has support for 1 NVMe SSD.
the 'f' in xf stands for full featured models = support for 2 NVMe SSDs.
The 'd' in xd stands for de-featured models = support for 1 NVMe SSD.
Hence the confusion.
The models share the same service manual, and the manual shows two SSD positions but that would only be applicable to the 16-xf model series.
Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)
That's why the manual leaves out both the 'd' and the 'f' in the product description and just has 16-x0000.
Below is the link to the service teardown video:
The video is labeled for the 16-xd0000 model and that is really a 16-xf0000 that they are working on which even adds more confusion to the mix.
