Hi, 

I have an HP Victus 16 with a rx5500m.

 

Amd recently allowed rx5000 cards to enable smart access memory.

I would like to know if there would be any posibity of enabling it, as it is in the advanced BIOS tab, which is hidden by default.

It would be great, as it improves gaming performance

I have same victus variant but for enabling smart access memory it requires enabling resizable bar through bios. But the option for enabling resizable bar is not available in bios. Please hp fix this throgh next bios update!  Just by enabling smart access memory user can gain upto 15 percent performance boost. SAM can not be used because iresizable bar is not enabled in bios.SAM can not be used because iresizable bar is not enabled in bios.Laptop has ryzen 5000 series CPU and 5000 series GPU which is hardware requirement for enabling SAM.Laptop has ryzen 5000 series CPU and 5000 series GPU which is hardware requirement for enabling SAM.Resizable bar needs to be enabled through bios.Resizable bar needs to be enabled through bios.
