Hey everyone, my laptop won’t turn on and it says there is a smart hard disk error 302. I ran the system test and it says there’s an issue there and the test failed. My question is, is there any possible way for me to fix this, or will I have to just call customer support and get it repaired?

 

there doesn’t seem like any possible way to fix it, but im willing to try. Any help or information is greatly appreciated!

Hi:

 

The only way to fix the problem is to either replace the failed drive yourself, or if the PC is still under warranty, contact HP customer services and submit a support ticket to have the drive replaced under warranty.
