HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-cx0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My computer has recently been showing lines through it horizontally, and I originally thought the cold must have messed with the screen, but I quickly noticed that whenever I scroll, the lines move with it, so I know its a software problem, but I have no idea what could be causing it. I've had the laptop for about two years and it's been a sudden change, and happens almost every time I open it without fail, but the longer I use it the more it dwindles until there's not a problem anymore. It's not totally debilitating but is horribly annoying. Any help for how I might be able to troubleshoot more?

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues with the display on your computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

What is the product number of your computer?

Meanwhile, I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.

If you continue facing the issue, then boot to BIOS by tapping the F10 on the restart and then check whether you can duplicate the issue in the BIOS screen.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
