I wanted to upgrade my pc by adding a PCIe nvme m.2 ssd.
But I was unable to change the boot order as I never got the option in the bios settings.
Is there any other method ?

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are unable to change the boot order on the computer.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
Have you installed the SSD on the computer already? If yes, then follow the steps in the below article to change the boot order.
https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c00364979
If you have not installed the SSD on the computer then you will not get the SSD option to boot.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
