Well if yours is PcIe then you have your answer. M is PcIe x4 and many B slots were sata or PcIe x2 B&M supports both. B is being phased out most new laptops have M or B&M. Or take the back off and have a look or even just take it to a store and ask. If they can't tell you then with the back off your laptop try PcIe x4 or M or let them try it at the store. M will not work if your motherboard doesn't support PcIe x4. Sata will pretty much always work because even computers with PcIe x4 usually support Sata as well. You are pretty much guaranteed it is PcIe x4 (M slot)
