HP Pavillion Gaming Laptop 15-dk0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hello! Since i purchased my pavilion gaming laptop 15-dk0xxx last october, ive been having a strange issue with my charging cable.
Whenever the computer begins to run anything intensive whilst plugged in, the ingame fps drops to an unplayable level of 1-5fps from 100-200fps And the cpu drops to 0.79mhz and refuses to go higher.
this also occurs if i unplug the laptop whilst playing ANY game and plug it back in, the same fps drop occurs as well as the cpu clock speed drop.
while i am getting a replacement cord very soon to potentially fix the issue. i just wanted to reach out and see what yall think could be the issue.

i have been using throttlestop to mitigate the cpu issues which has worked flawlessly but the fps drops remain an issue.
