Welcome to HP support community.

Update the Bios, chipset and drivers using HP Support Assistant.

Download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: Click here

HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook

  1. Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.

Click Updates in the My notebook pane

  2. Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.

Updates list in HP Support Center

  3. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.

  4. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.

  5. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

Also ensure Windows is up to date.

Select the Start  button, and then go to Settings  > Update & security  > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available

Let me know how it goes.

Hi I have the same issue after I've updated my bios for HP Pavilion Gaming laptop 15-ec0063ax. My PC is locking up and hibernating while gaming.

Welcome to the HP support community.

When did this issue start?

Did you do any changes to the notebook?

I have the same laptop and the same issue. This started showing up immediately after the BIOS update to F.08 . I feel that the new update is the cause of the problem as everyone having the same laptop are facing the same issue after the BIOS update

After updating the bios to F.08,  i guess after the update every time , i played game for 15-20 mins auto shutdown happened. Main issues is bios can't be downgrade. for now there is no new update as well.  At least as a renowned company HP should provide bugless bios. If u provide any solution, i am really thankful.

This did not help, because the new BIOS version is being restored but the old one is needed

If you provide the previous BIOS version here is the model of my laptop hp pavilion gaming - 15-ec0044ur
I managed to find the old version on the hp website but when installing it writes " Unable to open BIOS signature file"
