Does it have thunderbolt 3 or is it just a regular type c port?

Hello @ZeroBlade,

 

The USB-C port available with the HP Gaming Pavilion - 15-cx0139tx is a plain USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 which only supports data transfer, unfortunately. So it is not a Thunderbolt 3 port and it will not output displays, connect to PCIe devices, or support PD (Power Delivery).
