Where are the settings to change or disable the "Taps" feature of the synaptics touch pad?

Did you solve your issue yet?

Synaptics touchpad should have a setting for disabling the tap function.

 

Are you able to find this setting...

Go to All Settings>Devices>Touchpad and then click on Additional Settings.

The ClickPad Settings tab should be selected.

Click the ClickPad Settings button.

Uncheck Tapping and click OK.
