Does this model 16-xd0015AX have a power delivery option, because when I used a 68W PD charger, the HP System Event Utility showed a notification that this device is not compatible, and I have 2 more questions
1. Does it support PD charging
2. The display is 100%srgb
3. Does it have a mux switch

Hi @Murali_Krishna_,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
Thanks for your detailed questions. Here’s a clear breakdown of the features for your HP OMEN 16-xd0015AX laptop based on the specs.
1. Does it support PD (Power Delivery) charging?
No, the HP OMEN 16-xd0015AX does not support USB-C PD charging for powering the laptop. When you tried using a 68W PD charger, the HP System Event Utility correctly flagged it as incompatible. While the USB-C port may support data transfer and DisplayPort with Sleep and Charge, it lacks the necessary circuitry for power delivery and charging.
⚠️ You’ll need to use the original HP 230W AC adapter for reliable charging and performance.
2. Is the display 100% sRGB?
Yes! The laptop features a 16.1-inch FHD IPS display with:
- 100% sRGB color gamut
- 300 nits’ brightness
- 7 ms response time
- Low Blue Light and anti-glare coating
This makes it excellent for color-accurate work, content creation, and immersive gaming
3. Does it have a MUX switch?
Yes, the OMEN 16-xd0015AX with Ryzen 7 7840HS and RTX 4050 includes a MUX switch, allowing you to toggle between the integrated GPU (iGPU) and dedicated GPU (dGPU) for better performance or battery life. This is especially useful for Linux users or gamers who want full control over GPU routing.
You can access this feature via the OMEN Gaming Hub or BIOS settings.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have an amazing day!
