I have an HP Pavilion 15-dk1064tx,
the HDMI port, which is connected to my RTX 2060 Max-Q, is broken. I'm planning to buy a USB-C to HDMI adapter to replace it. My question is, will the display output from the USB-C to HDMI adapter be handled by my integrated GPU Intel UHD 630 (iGPU) or the dedicated RTX 2060 (dGPU)?

Hello fandngo1.
Unfortunately only the HDMI port will use the dGPU. Connecting an external display to the USB-C port will result in the Intel graphics being used. This is a hardware limitation due to the motherboard design, and is often seen on systems, even from other manufacturers.
