My omen laptop needed a few drivers updated so I did that with hp support assistant. Bios was one of them. Before I updated my bios my usbc was working fine. I was using it as a display port for an additional monitor. After the Bios update, it didn't work at all. Doesn't display the monitor, doesn't charge, doesn't do anything.
