Hey all,

 

I am unable to reset my Omen laptop back to factory settings, I can go into settings and select the option and it appears to go all the way through the reset process but then it says "Something went wrong, nothing has been changed." 

 

This error occurs if trying to keep personal files, or to clear them. The computer is completely up to date but will not allow me to reset. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi:

 

You should be able to use the Cloud recovery tool to make a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
