(HP Omen 17-an110nr)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I recently purchased this product (HP Omen 17-an110nr) and expect to receive it on 02/01/2019. I wanted to upgrade the 1TB HDD to 1TB SSD, I wanted to know if using the following products was okay? This 1TB SSD will only be used for storage/programs.

Here is a link to what I am looking to purchase:

Hello @ShelbersxD

If you are wanting to replace the 1TB HDD with the 2.5 inch SSD, yes you can use that drive.

I assume you are going to reinstall Windows? I recommend a clean install. You can use the HP recovery USB media that you should create before beginning. Or you can use the Windows ISO from MS directly.

Is this what you are intending to do?

Here is your manual explaining how to access the drive.

You can also install an NVMe M.2 drive and then keep the 2.5 inch HDD or SSD installed as storage and programs.
