Hi:

According to chapter 1 of the service manual, your notebook's M.2 slot supports both SATA and NVMe SSD's.

The Crucial P5 should work fine.  I have one in a Dell Optiplex 7050 desktop.  I like it a lot, but it runs rather hot.

I added a heat sink to it, and that cooled it down considerably (12 C).

You will probably not have the clearance to add a heat sink to the SSD in your notebook.
