Product: Omen 17-w253dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'd like to upgrade the SSD in my Omen 17-w253dx, and I can't find a compatibility list. I'd like to use a Samsung 970 M.2, but don't know if it will work.

Which says it has  1 TB 7200 rpm SATA. Where is the SSD you are talking about ? Is it a 2.5" SSD or M.2 SSD ? Please use Device Manage > Disk drives to find out.

I'm sorry for my lack of details. My laptop has a 128g M.2 drive, which I discovered when I upgraded the 1 TB hard drive to an SSD. I'm looking to upgrade the 128G M.2 drive. The only drive I've seen linked to this model laptop was the HP drive part # 847110-004. I'd prefer a much quicker drive, but I can't find a compatibility list anywhere. I'm looking at the SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS M.2 2280 1TB PCIe Gen 3.0 x4, NVMe 1.3 V-NAND 3-bit MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-V7S1T0B/AM. I would like to know if this drive will work.
