Upgrade SSD

My laptop comes with 128 GB SSD and 2TB SATA. I want to remove and replace the 128 GB drive with either 512 GB SSD or 1 TB SSD. Can you provide me with the specs of a replacement drive?

I am also looking for an extra/spare 230W power adapter (part number 677766-003 or 693706-001) but can't locate that part under accessories.

Any PCI Express NVMe gen3x4 drive will work. HP has been using the Samsung PM961 series in the Omen.

Either of are examples of what will work (via USA links)...

Samsung PM961 Polaris 512GB M.2 NGFF PCIe Gen3 x4, NVME Solid state drive SSD, OEM (2280)

or the EVO series will also work...example

I'm not sure what you mean by "can't locate that part under accessories".

You can pick those up on sites like Amazon or Ebay most likely cheaper than through HP.

Yes that does help, thanks. I just ordered the Omen brand new from the local HP website, but I live in Thailand, so ebay and amazon aren't options. I was able to find other AC power adapters on the HP site, but not the one I need.

This site sells 40W, 65W, 45W, 10W, 18W, 15W, 90W, 12W, and 90W slim. So pretty much every adapter imaginable except the 230W one I need.

And to add insult to injury, when you add the laptop to the shopping cart, the accessories listed are a plotter, laser printer and toner, but nothing related to the laptop (such as a mouse, keyboard, speakers, battery, external hard drive, power adapter, etc.)

I see what you mean.

I would not know of any stores available in Thailand that sell electronic parts.

The only other option I can think of would be to call the number at the top of the page and talk to an agent directly.
