@BergLake, welcome to the forum.
Here is the Maintenance and Service Guide for the laptop. In Chapter 5 (Removal and replacement procedures for Customer Self-Repair parts), Page 44, there is a list of compatible SSD's. It appears to me that the Samsung drive should be compatible. If you have further questions about the compatibility I suggest that you contact Samsung's Tech Support for help. They are the experts on their drives.
