Did you install the new drive?

You have to install Windows on it.

New drives don't come with an operating system installed.

Yes I installed the new ssd and no I didn’t download and system to it . How do I do it ? I’ve seen some you tube videos but not sure if they are correct for my computer

Make a bootable USB installation flash drive with the media creation tool from the link below (2nd option).

Download Windows 11

After you make the USB installation media, plug it into your PC's USB port.

Turn on or restart the PC.

Immediately tap...tap...tap... the ESC key to get the menu of options.

Select the F9 boot options menu and from that, select the USB flash drive and press the Enter key.

The PC should boot from the flash drive and should begin to load the Windows setup files.

Then you can watch the videos you found to continue.

Pretty much follow the steps.

After W11 has completed installing, if any drivers are needed you should be able to use the W10 drivers from the support page.

Everything seems to be working fine and fast also no glitches. I didn’t load any drivers from window 10 . Check Nvidia and Gtx card ,  it states that there’s no issues . What would you recommend to use for the hdd when using large files ?

Glad you got your PC up and running.

You can use the hard drive for storing files, such as if you download game files and whatnot.

You can keep those on a separate drive.

It’s me again one question .

will this Ram fit my pavilion 15-ec0013dx?

HI:

Your notebook uses DDR4-3200 CL22 memory that runs at 2400 MHz.

The memory in your screenshot is DDR5, and it runs at a lower voltage and the notch in the memory circuit board is cut in a different place than it is in a DDR4 memory chip, making it impossible for a DDR5 memory chip to fit in a DDR4 memory slot.

What would you recommend for a 32gb upgrade ?
