Looking to upgrade my SSD on my laptop as it's starting to go. Can't find any information online about compatible SSD's for the motherboard in this computer. Mostly just wondering about sizing, from my taking it apart it looks like the only size of SSD that I could fit in this computer is an M.2 2242. Just wondering if anyone else has experience with this and if I'm able to go to a longer SSD or if that's my only size option

Hi:
The parts list for your notebook indicates the 128 GB M.2 SSD is a 2280.
If you google the part numbers of the M.2 SSDs in chapter 3 of the service manual (I checked the 512 GB one), they are 2280.

If you are 100% sure that the drive in the is a 2242 is there a hole for a SSD hold down screw further out from the one in there now?
I have a HP Thin Client T630 PC and you have the option of installing 2242 or 2280 drives based on where you secure them down.
