So, i wanted to add another 8gb ram to my laptop and i wanted to know if this memory RAM SO-DIMM HyperX Impact 8GB (1x8GB) DDR4-2666MHz CL15 is compatible with my laptop and i wanted to know if this would work properly as dual channel with my original 8gb ram slot, like there wouldn t be compatible problems with the original 8gb ram slot that is already on the laptop.

99% chance is no. It could be compatible only. To be able to get 100% dual channels you need to use SAME RAM, even same vendor of your existing RAM. The following tool shows you what is existing RAM
