Hello. I want to add extra space to my device. What hp support said on facebook is that I cannot install 2TB SSD or m2. But the repairman says somethings differently. I was wondering what is the limit exactly. This my laptop's user manual

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06468462
Manual : http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06377664.pdf
Its has 512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD now. You can add 2.5" SATA-3 SSD to your machine. If you wish, you can replace existing 512GB with 2TB NVMe SSD such as https://www.samsung.com/au/memory-storage/nvme-ssd/970-evo-nvme-m-2-ssd-1tb-mz-v7e1t0bw/
The limit is huge but due to physical size 2TB is right for its size (some vendors have 4TB now).
Regards.

Yes, why not ? Do you have a backup scheme ? Just thinking about 2TB + 2TB if machine failed one day.
Regards.
