Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-e1000 (53G39AV)

I bought this laptop about 2 months ago,

I bought also a ssd, Kingston snv2s/1000g

I used it for 45 days, there was no problem,

One day it didnt boot, there was ssd error, "Hard disk 1 (301)", I thougt that ssd broken,

And I bought new SSD that is NETAC NV5000N 1tb M.2 2280,

Even I tried with win 10 x64 2018 iso, 21h iso,win 10 x64 22h2 iso, win11 x64 22h2 version,

I installed sp142558.exe from hp.com support,

It detects sound card hardware, but there is no sound.

I couldt make sound card work, system says there no connected speaker nor earphone,

Than ı decided that make a system test in bios, it says AUDIO not available,

What should I do now?

Hi @esensoy,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like there may be an issue with the audio hardware on your VICTUS 16-e1005nt laptop. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue.

  • Check the physical connections: Make sure that your speakers or headphones are properly plugged into the correct audio jack. If you're using headphones, try using a different pair to make sure the issue isn't with the headphones themselves.
  • Check the volume: Ensure that the volume is turned up and that the sound isn't muted. You can check this by clicking on the speaker icon in the taskbar and adjusting the volume slider.
  • Update drivers: It's possible that the issue is caused by outdated or corrupted audio drivers. Try downloading and installing the latest audio drivers from the HP website.
  • Check Windows Audio service: Make sure the Windows Audio service is running. You can check this by searching for "Services" in the Start menu, and then finding "Windows Audio" in the list. If it's not running, right-click on it and select "Start."
  • Test in Safe Mode: Try booting into Safe Mode and testing the audio hardware again. If the audio works in Safe Mode, it's likely that there's a software conflict causing the issue.
  • Reset BIOS settings: If the audio hardware isn't detected in the BIOS, it's possible that the BIOS settings are incorrect. You can try resetting the BIOS settings to their default values to see if this fixes the issue.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
