Microsoft Windows 11

Hello HP Team,

Using Victus 15 Laptop. Bluetooth is consistantly disappearing from device manager. I tried rebooting, updating BIOS, updating Windows 11 25H2, downloaded bluetooth driver from microsoft Update Catalog. But the issue still keeps persisting. Requesting Permanent solution. Thank you.

Hi @xtencion

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thank you for the detailed information. We understand that on your HP Victus 15-fa1000 Gaming Laptop, the Bluetooth device continues to disappear from Device Manager even after updating the BIOS, installing the latest Windows 11 updates, and manually loading the Bluetooth driver.

Since the issue persists after the common software updates, let's focus on a more complete guided approach.

Shut down the notebook completely.

Disconnect all external USB devices, docking stations, wireless adapters, and peripherals.

Press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds, then restart the notebook and check if Bluetooth remains available.

Run HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI:

  • Turn off the notebook.
  • Power it on and repeatedly tap F2.
  • Run Component Tests and review any results related to Wireless or Bluetooth hardware.

Open Device Manager:

  • Select View > Show hidden devices.
  • Expand Bluetooth and Network adapters.
  • If the Bluetooth adapter appears faded, uninstall it and select Delete the driver software for this device if available.
  • Restart the notebook and allow Windows to reload the hardware.

Open Windows Services:

  • Verify that Bluetooth Support Service is running and set to Automatic.
  • Restart the service and monitor Bluetooth functionality after reboot.

In HP Support Assistant, install any remaining chipset, wireless, Intel/Realtek Bluetooth, or firmware updates that may still be pending, even if Windows Update reports the system as current.

If Bluetooth disappears intermittently, note whether Wi‑Fi also disconnects at the same time. Since Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth often share the same wireless module, this detail helps determine whether the issue is related to the wireless hardware or power management.

Because you have already updated the BIOS, Windows 11 25H2, and the Bluetooth driver, the next key step is to check the hardware diagnostics results and confirm whether Wi‑Fi remains stable when Bluetooth disappears. That information will help us identify the most effective permanent resolution path.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
