Hello,

I wanted to pair any device with my laptop (either smartphone or headset) but it does not detect any of them. Also my laptop is not visible via my smartphone. I've already reinstalled bluetooth driver and nothing helps. Windows troubleshooter does not see any issues (wow). At victus driver website I can't spot any driver that would address my issue. Please help me 😞

 

EDIT:

On device manager list my bluetooth is listed as:

I've also updated my BIOS and other drivers, still nothing.

Thank you for response 🙂 I've already solved it by uninstalling Generic Bluetooth Adapter and running HP Support Assistant application so it could detect proper driver (instead of windows automatic driver setting).

Hi:

 

What model wifi adapter does your notebook have?

 

The Generic Bluetooth Adapter needs the driver installed that matches the model of the wifi adapter.

Thank you for response 🙂 I've already solved it by uninstalling Generic Bluetooth Adapter and running HP Support Assistant application so it could detect proper driver (instead of windows automatic driver setting).
