Hi @Jay683
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
It sounds like your Victus laptop is experiencing a charging issue with the 150W AC adapter, and the power button blinks 2-3 times when pressed. Here are some troubleshooting steps to help resolve this:
1. Perform a Hard Reset
- Disconnect the AC adapter and remove any external devices.
- Press and hold the power button for 15-30 seconds.
- Reconnect the AC adapter and try turning on the laptop.
2. Check the Charger and Port
- Inspect the charging cable for any damage or frayed wires.
- Try using a different power outlet.
- If possible, test with another compatible HP charger.
3. Reset the BIOS
- Shut down the laptop and keep the charger plugged in.
- Hold down Windows + B while the laptop is off.
- Press the power button and continue holding Windows + B until the BIOS Recovery screen appears.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
4. Update Battery and Power Drivers
- Open Device Manager (Windows + X > Device Manager).
- Expand Batteries and AC Adapter.
- Right-click each and select Update driver.
Let me know if any of these steps help! 😊
