Product: OMEN by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-xd0000 (758R0AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I use the OMEN 16 laptop on a vertical stand, with fixed connections to hubs, sound, monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc. It's a pain to remove it from the stand without messing up the cables, making room to open the lid just to press the power button and then close the lid and set it again on the stand.

All my last laptops (from other brands) had a feature on their BIOS called Wake on AC. I just pulled the power cord out and in again, or flipped the power grid switch, and the laptop would boot from the shutdown or hibernated status.

I really need this feature available on this laptop and would love to see it in a future (not too distant) BIOS firmware upgrade.

I don't even know what I'll have to do if the power button malfunctions. Can't even find a pinhole to push a reset/power on button with something sharp.

Wake on LAN isn't possible also, I can only use WiFi.
