Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 15-fa0000 (680A4AV)

I bought HP Victus Laptop on 8th April 2023 from Authorized HP Dealer ( GEONET IT MALL ) , PHOENIX ,Pune .When I tried to register my new laptop for Service and warranty in HP website I found the product was already registered as of 19th Jan 2023 and warranty expires as of 19th Jan 2024.

I have escalated to HP Service team and no resolution. I went to dealer asking if he has issued me used laptop he also denies the same.

My only question to HP service team, how can someone register the product before purchase date if the product is not new? Anyone from HP hire officials if you are reading this can you please investigate the issue.

@SamKon

Probably he did not know. The shop (or its HQ) scanned (bar code or QR code) of the box when it arrived at its warehouse therefore it registered as sold.

You can ask HP in your country to change to actual date.

Regards.
