Do I need the original box of the product? If I take my computer to warranty, will they accept it because it doesn't have a box?
and If I open the computer, clean the fans and apply thermal paste, will the warranty expire?

HP will supply a box for you to send machine back. You have to use EXACTLY information when sending it for repair otherwise it may get lost in a jungle.
