@jaytee254,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

My friend, HP has been aware of the TPM 2.0 / attestation problem for over a year. Rollouts of BIOS updates to fix this issue amongst numerous HP computers has been piecemeal and admittingly rather slow.

Truth of the matter is that you'll have to wait until HP releases a BIOS update -or not, it is unclear to us which computers are going to get a BIOS update and which ones will not.

Check your HP laptop's driver download site for a recent or future BIOS update or wait for an HP Support Assistant BIOS update.

Unfortunately, all I can do is to refer you to a recently published TKB ('Technical Knowledge Base'), which explains the current situation and provides the latest guidance whilst HP continues to work toward a resolution. Hopefully, this will serve as a central point of reference until HP chooses to share additional information: Troubleshooting TPM Attestation Errors on OMEN 25L.

Kind Regards,

@jaytee254,

I completely understand your frustration. What makes this particularly confusing is that your PC did run Warzone and BO7 previously, so it feels like something "broke".

In reality, that's likely what happened -but not because of anything you did.

Call of Duty's anti-cheat (RICOCHET) and Microsoft's attestation requirements have evolved over time. As those security checks become more stringent, systems whose TPM firmware or BIOS don't fully meet the newer attestation requirements may suddenly stop passing validation, even though they worked perfectly a few months earlier.

Unfortunately, that's not something that can be corrected through Windows settings or by reinstalling the game. If the underlying issue is the BIOS/TPM firmware on your HP system, the only permanent fix is an HP BIOS update that addresses the attestation problem.

For now, I recommend periodically checking your model's support page or using HP Support Assistant for BIOS updates. If HP releases one for your platform, that will almost certainly be the first place it appears.

I know that's probably not the answer you were hoping for, but at least you're not alone -many other HP gaming users have reported the same behavior after game and security updates increased the attestation requirements.

Kind Regards,
