HP Omen 15 - DC052nr

So I am asking my relative to buy me the HP Omen. But I couldn’t tell them where to buy but Best Buy. On the Best Buy site: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-omen-15-6-laptop-intel-core-i7-16gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1060-1.... The specs are very similar to the HP Omen 15 DC052NR, so I don’t know what to tell my relative. Could anyone please tell me what to tell my relative? It’s very likely he would buy it at Best Buy.

Hello @Kyshou

The biggest differenct between the Best Buy model dc0030nr and the dc0052nr is that the Best Buy models screen is 1920x1080. The other (dc0052nr) comes with a 4K screen.

If you are a gamer, the standard screen will be much easier to obtain a high Frame Rate during gaming. The 4K will work the graphics card much much harder.

Also with the standard screen, your battery life will be longer.

The Best Buy model comes with a 1TB HDD and a 128 GB SSD.

The other only shows 1 TB HDD in the HP specs, but that has not always been the case. If not, you can add the SSD yourself anyway and buy a larger one.

I would personally go for the Best Buy model with 1080P screen which will give higher fps and longer battery life.

Just my opinion.

Note, if you live in a different country than your relative who is buying the laptop for you, you probably wont have any warranty in your country.
