Hi HP Community, may I ask what the maximum RAM upgrade capacity is for the HP Victus 15‑FA1447TX? I currently have 2 × 8 GB (16 GB) DDR4-3200 MT/s RAM, an RTX 4050, and an Intel Core i5-12450H. I’ve asked ChatGPT and other communities, but so far none have given a proper or accurate answer. I’d appreciate it a lot if someone could answer my question here.

Hi:

HP only has the service manual for the original 15-fa0xxx model series available, and according to chapter 1 of that manual, the maximum memory is 2 x 8 GB:

Maintenance and Service Guide

The notebook should be able to support up to 2 x 32 GB of DDR4-3200 memory according to the Crucial website.

If you want to see if your notebook can support more than 2 x 8 GB of memory, you can run this command in Windows Powershell as administrator:

Get-CimInstance -ClassName Win32_PhysicalMemoryArray | Select-Object MaxCapacityEx, MemoryDevices
