When plugged in laptop lags when browsing playing games

hello, so i have had this Omen Laptop for a year now and suddenly it started lagging when the charger is being plugged in especially either on a browser or a game such as Valorant and League. However, when off the charger it seems to be completely fine having no drops in framerate or lagging at all in the browser could someone help thank youu.

I have gone through your post and would like to help.

As I understand when the charger is plugged into Omen laptop lags when browsing playing games.

For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this.

• Did this happen after any power outage?
• Does the charger overheat?
• When was the last time it worked?
• Do you get any error messages?
• Were there any hardware/software changes made?

Please try with an alternate adapter if possible to isolate the issue with the charger and not the computer.

I have a few recommendations: 

• Update your Notebook computer to the latest BIOS from HP.COM.
• Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.
