It is a Omen S/N Edited

Just the other day I installed the new graphic drivers but everything was fine after.  Then today I turn on my pc, and the wifi setting had completely disappeared. Then I restarted it, then the Bluetooth setting was gone as well both from settings and quick munu, all that was left was Ethernet and I do not have access to Ethernet right now. So I decided to factory reset my pc and when I got hit with the connect to Internet option its was still gone like the drivers got deleted from the whole system.

Hi @Flow369,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your OMEN 40L Desktop is experiencing issues with wireless connectivity drivers, which seem to have been uninstalled or have malfunctioned. Here’s a step-by-step guide to getting your wireless connections back:

STEP 1: Check if Windows SEE the wireless card at all

On your PC:

  1. Right‑click StartDevice Manager
  2. Expand:
    • Network adapters
    • Bluetooth

If you do NOT see anything like:

  • Intel® Wi‑Fi 6 AX201
  • Realtek 8822/8852
  • MediaTek Wi-Fi
  • Bluetooth adapter

Then the hardware is not being detected.

STEP 2: Perform a full power discharge reset (important)

This resets the motherboard and forces it to re‑detect the wireless module:

  1. Shut down the PC completely
  2. Unplug the power cable
  3. Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds
  4. Plug back in and boot

If Wi‑Fi returns → it was a UEFI/firmware initialization issue.

If not → continue.

STEP 3: Re‑enable the wireless adapter in BIOS (UEFI)

  1. Restart the PC
  2. Immediately tap F10 to enter BIOS
  3. Look for Advanced or System Configuration
  4. Make sure Wireless LAN and Bluetooth are enabled

If they already are → continue.

STEP 5: Reinstall the correct HP wireless drivers

Since you currently have no Internet on the OMEN, use another device to download:

📌 HP OMEN 40L GT21‑0014 Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth Drivers
Link: OMEN 40L Desktop GT21-0014 PC (575M4AA) Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support
Look under Driver – Network

Install in this order:

  1. Chipset driver
  2. Wi‑Fi driver
  3. Bluetooth driver

Then restart your PC.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
