I put my laptop shut down and on charge mistakenly for 4 days.

I wonder if this will create any issues for my device?

While the notebook may have been plugged in for 4 days straight, the charger quit charging the battery when the battery charge level reached 100%--probably in less than 2 hours after you shut it down.

 

You should not leave the notebook plugged into A/C power 24/7/365 with the battery in a constant 100% charge state as that may lead to battery swelling.
