Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

There's a recent windows update that has come out called '2020-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64-based Systems (KB4532693) (10)'. Every time I try and restard my computer to configure the update, it gets to about 7-8% and then fails, and removes the update. Any ideas?

The error code is 0x80070490

@Lukelb1-

I can see your update failed 10 times. That is the Microsoft thing. Please try following fix:

I ran the DISM diagnostic tool and it completed successfully and said 'no component store corruption detected.' I've also ran the sfc scan on command prompt and it said 'Windows Resource Protection did not find any security violations' and tried resetting the update components using a guide on this website - https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/windows-throws-you-0x80070490-heres-the-fix/#F2. Still not working though

Update: Got remote assistance from HP. In the end, a complete reinstallation of Windows has worked. Thanks for great customer service
