Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have been dealing with this problem for a couple of days now and cannot figure out what the problem is or how to solve it. Quite frankly this is the second HP laptop that I have used where this kind of random problem has occured and am starting to get sick and tired of it. Whenever I am using the internet, every fifteen or so minutes I become disconnected for a random period of time. The wifi icon in the bottom of my screen still shows that I am connected even though I am not, and when I try to troubleshoot the problem I am left with "Windows could not automatically detect this network's proxy settings". I have tried everything from this page https://windowsreport.com/windows-could-not-automatically-detect-networks-proxy-settings/#.XCvKo1xKh... to no avail and am now hoping that someone from HP support can help me out. I know that the issue is not my router (or at least shouldn't be) because my brother has been sitting one foot away from me the whole time and has not had any issues. Any help would be appreciated because I really don't want to have to continue waiting for this to randomly solve itself.

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Could you please help me with the exact model name or the product number of your notebook.

Appreciate all your efforts, if you have tried all the steps in the link.

Let's try updating the BIOS and the wireless card using this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers
