Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers?
  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?

Keep me posted for further assistance.

I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

Let's perform Windows Update and HP Support Assistant:

To check for updates now, select the Start button, and then go to Settings  > Update & security  > Windows Update, and select Check for updates. Install updates from HP Support Assistant: Go to Download HP Support Assistant to install the tool.

  1. To open HP Support Assistant, double-click the HP Support Assistant icon https://support.hp.com/doc-images/932/c05040382.jpg.
  2. Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
  3. Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
  4. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
  5. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
  6. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

Also, perform BIOS Update: Follow steps from the link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c00042629  This should fix the issue.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

I tried the HP support assistant solution like you wrote, but couldn't find a new update so I opened Windows> Setting> Update and there were 3 updates here, but they were not found by hp support assistant. Why is this ?

My Pc is Up to date but nothing solved 😞

I can't do the BIOS update this week , it's my exam week in school ( I don't want to interest this problem in this week )

My question is , this BIOS update will fix my problem mostly ?  ( Worth it ? )

I'm going to upgrade my SSD in summer so ,in new Windows this problem goes %100 because all driver is changed.

I'm asking you to, what kind of solution you recommend for me ?

Thank you for all support .

Kind Regards.

Thank you for posting back.

To get the answer to this question. The bios update act as an interface between the computer's hardware and its operating system.

As you've mentioned computer software drivers are updated and the system is functioning normally. I would recommend waiting until your exam gets over.

Keep me posted for further assistance.

Thank you for kind post.

My exams are over today and I'm happy about results but need to be a bit better.

Let's get my new question , I've looked at the page you sent the link to me, and a feature called bitlocker on the page I could not find the setting of this feature, I've never changed this setting at all.

Where can ı found it ? ı searched it in the control panel but no results at all.

Or I don't need to find this feature , forwhy I've never enable bitlocker.

Thanks .

Glad to hear about your results,

BitLocker is full disk encryption software created by Microsoft software. It is designed to protect your PC against offline attacks and is intended to add an additional level of security, ensuring that only the authorized owner of the computer can unlock the device and restore access, typically if your device gets stolen. More information can be found here:

Thanks for giving information but I can't find the Bitlocker from pressing Windows + R and paste gpedit.msccommand.

Run command said '' Windows can't find the gpedit.msc command try again.

I've also tried another option , I searched from my control panel but can't find allready.

Why I can't find this function ? And Can I go to update bios ?

This is Screenshot of my control panel.

According to the screenshot, your system doesn't have BitLocker encryption, In order to encrypt the hard drive with BitLocker software, you need to run the software programme again.

Click here to know more about BitLocker software installation "Microsoft Download Center"

Keep me posted for further assistance.
