I am trying to start up a windows laptop and it keeps putting it into recovery mode and whenever it’s not in recovery mode it shows my the hp logo for a long time and then it’s just a blue screen for about 10 seconds and it shuts right back off with the clicking noise. It has happened multiple times before and it would just shut off and I would have to do a whole bunch of different things Power back on, but now it’s happening more frequently and as of right now, I can’t get it to power back on. I do not know what type of laptop it is, but I can find out if needed.

Hello,
Sounds like your HP laptop may be facing a hardware fault—especially with that clicking noise and repeated blue screens. Try a hard reset by holding the power button for 15 seconds, then boot into recovery using F11. If that fails, it could be a failing drive or RAM issue. A diagnostic test or service check might be the next best step.

Best Regards,
Thomas Henry
