Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

My wifi connection keeps turning off when I am idle or away from keyboard, but it reconnects when I move the mouse or click on the network icon. This is really annoying when trying to watch Youtube or Netflix.

It started doing this the moment I opened the package and did all the updates. I downloaded nothing except Chrome and went straight to Youtube and Netflix to watch videos.

-All my drivers and windows is up to date.

-My power is plugged in.

-When I'm working on constantly on Wifi it doesn't disconnect

-I even went into the settings to uncheck "power saving mode" like many of the threads I have found on the internet.

What other options are there because this is quite annoying for someone trying to enjoy a paid subscription of Netflix.

Respectfully,

Ivee Sanasinh

@IveeSana

Please try

(a) Open Device Manager,

(b) Expand Network Adapter,

(c) Right click Wifi adapter and select Properties,

(d) Click Power Management tab,

(e) Untick "Allow ... to turn off ...."

(f) Click Apply/Save/Ok

Regards.

@Banhien Thank you for the reply. I did try that method the very first day of operation after it was doing the disconnecting. Any other options? I tried updating the drivers also.

Is it possible it could be the router? Which is weird because I never had this problem with any other computers or laptops with the same router.
