What could it possible be? I already restored the laptop to fabric. Ive turn one performance mode. Cleaned the fans. Please help me hp or someone. Thanks

Hi @estefanoparet,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for explaining the issue and the troubleshooting you've already completed. Since you have already restored the notebook to factory settings, selected Performance mode, and cleaned the fans, we recommend checking the HP-provided BIOS and graphics drivers before doing another reset.

Update the HP drivers and BIOS
For your Victus by HP 15.6-inch Gaming Laptop 15-fa1000 (7N773AV), please use the official HP driver page: Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fa1000 (7N773AV) Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support

Select your exact Windows 11 version, then check for and install the available:

  • BIOS
  • Chipset drivers
  • NVIDIA graphics driver
  • Any other HP-recommended system/firmware updates applicable to your configuration

The HP page specifically provides the drivers for the 15-fa1000 (7N773AV) after you select the Windows 11 version.

After completing the updates, restart the notebook and test the game again while the original HP AC adapter is connected and Performance mode is selected.

Also, please let us know:

  • The exact CPU and NVIDIA GPU installed in your Victus.
  • Whether the reduced performance occurs only in Warzone or in other games as well.
  • Whether you have an FPS limit or V-Sync enabled in the game.
  • Whether the behaviour remains the same when running another demanding game.

If the problem occurs across multiple games even after installing the HP-provided BIOS/chipset/graphics updates, we can continue with HP PC Hardware Diagnostics to check the system hardware before considering additional software changes.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
