any help with reseting ports. The ports on the left side are operational but the ports on the right side are not including the charging port/

It sounds like you’re experiencing issues with the USB ports on your computer. Right-click on the Start button and select Device Manager. Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers section. Right-click on each USB controller and select Uninstall device. After uninstalling all controllers, restart your computer. Windows will automatically reinstall the USB controllers.
