Hi @burak1453,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
If your Victus by HP 15.6" Gaming Laptop 15-fa1000 (771S5AV) is missing the webcam driver in Windows 11, you're not alone. This issue can happen due to driver corruption, privacy settings, or a disabled device.
Step-by-Step Fix for Missing Webcam Driver
1. Check for Hidden Devices in Device Manager
- Press Windows + X → select Device Manager
- Click View > Show hidden devices
- Expand Imaging Devices or Cameras
- If you see HP Camera, right-click → Enable device
If it’s not listed at all, continue below.
2. Uninstall and Scan for Hardware Changes
- In Device Manager, go to Cameras or Imaging Devices
- If you see any webcam-related entry, right-click → Uninstall device
- Then click Action > Scan for hardware changes
This forces Windows to detect and reinstall the webcam.
3. Check Privacy Settings
- Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera
- Make sure Camera access is turned on
- Scroll down and enable access for apps like Camera, Zoom, Teams, etc.
4. Use HP Support Assistant
- Download HP Support Assistant | HP® Support
- Run it to detect missing drivers and install updates automatically
I hope this helps.
Take care and have an amazing day!
