Hi @shivandshakti,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
We understand that the camera driver is missing on your Windows 11 computer. To provide the correct model-specific driver and troubleshooting, please share the exact HP computer model or product number.
Meanwhile, try the following steps:
1. Check the camera privacy controls
- Open any physical privacy cover located next to the camera.
- If the keyboard has a camera-shutter key, press it once. On some models, you might need to press Fn + the camera-shutter key.
- If the camera-key light is on, the camera is disabled.
2. Check Device Manager
- In Windows, search for and open Device Manager.
- Check under Cameras, Imaging devices, and Sound, video and game controllers.
- If the camera appears, right-click it and select Update driver > Search automatically for drivers.
- Restart the computer after completing the update.
Also check Other devices for an unknown device or warning symbol. Please share any error code shown, such as Code 10, Code 43, or Code 45.
3. Install Windows updates
- Open Settings > Windows Update.
- Select Check for updates.
- Go to Advanced options > Optional updates.
- Install any available driver updates, and then restart the computer.
4. Install HP updates
Open HP Support Assistant, select the computer under My Dashboard, and click Updates. Install the recommended driver and BIOS updates, and restart when prompted.
You can also use the Official HP® Drivers and Software Download | HP® Support after identifying the exact model.
For additional camera troubleshooting, refer to HP PCs - Troubleshoot the webcam (Windows) | HP® Support.
Please reply with the exact HP model or product number, whether the camera appears in Device Manager, and any error shown in the Windows Camera app.
Take care and have an amazing day!
